Role Description This contract, remote role is for Allied Health Professionals in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, and Exercise Physiology. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting telehealth and other remote assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment and management plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions for clients of varying ages and needs. The role involves documenting clinical notes and reports in line with NDIS and other funding requirements, maintaining clear communication with clients, families, and support teams, and collaborating with other professionals to coordinate care. Tasks may also include contributing to health promotion initiatives, providing education and resources to clients and caregivers, and participating in clinical supervision or professional development activities as required. Professionals in this role are expected to manage their caseloads independently while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including active listening, clear written documentation, and collaborative teamwork abilities.
  • Customer Service capabilities to deliver respectful, person-centered care and support client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Medicine principles relevant to allied health practice, including safe work practices and clinical risk management.
  • Health Promotion skills to design and deliver education, preventative strategies, and self-management support tailored to diverse client needs.
  • Recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology, with current professional registration or membership where applicable.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants or clients funded by Medicare, private health insurance, or aged care packages is highly regarded.
  • Ability to provide services remotely, including competence with telehealth platforms, digital record-keeping, and privacy/confidentiality requirements.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, cultural safety, continuous learning, and evidence-based care.
