AML / Compliance Officer (80–100%) Insurance | Liechtenstein or Canton Schwyz | Permanent | Hybrid Our client is an established life insurance business forming part of a wider European group. Following continued growth in its cross-border portfolio, the compliance function is expanding and a new AML officer is being brought into the team. The environment is deliberately flat and non-bureaucratic — you will have direct access to decision-makers and real influence over how the framework develops. The role Acting as the go-to point of contact for client-facing colleagues on all AML and financial crime questions Reviewing client due diligence files for completeness and plausibility, and building out business profiles Ongoing monitoring of higher-risk relationships and politically exposed persons Corresponding directly with clients and intermediaries to obtain outstanding documentation Contributing to periodic reporting and to risk assessments across the AML framework Helping to write and maintain internal AML manuals, policies and directives Supporting internal and external audit cycles, including remediation of findings Your profile A commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, backed by solid practical experience Hands-on AML experience gained within insurance or financial services (this is a firm requirement) A structured, analytical mind, comfortable holding several threads at once under time pressure Confident across MS Office Fluent German and English, plus a good working command of Italian — all three are required. Further languages are welcome.
