Bring Clarity to Complexity

At Two Worlds Consulting, we help clients navigate complex social, environmental, and regulatory challenges by bringing together Indigenous Knowledge and Western science. Working collaboratively with First Nations, Métis, Inuit, industry, and the public sector, we support informed decision-making through practical, culturally grounded, and technically sound solutions.

We are seeking an Analyst to support human environment work across engagement, Rights and interests assessment, Indigenous Knowledge studies, socio-economic services, and related impact assessment, planning, advisory, and decision-making contexts. In this entry-level role, you will contribute to balanced, credible outcomes by supporting research, analysis, writing, and project coordination that brings together Indigenous and Western ways of knowing within a multi-lens framework. Our analysts also work across project phases, from early research and engagement planning through to analysis, reporting, and implementation support.

Location: We encourage in-office or hybrid arrangements for Analyst roles based in Victoria or Vancouver, BC, as this supports learning, mentoring, and team connection. Remote work within Canada may be considered for candidates with more directly relevant experience who can work with a higher level of independence.

Compensation: $26.00–$32.00 per hour ($50,700–$62,400 annually based on a 37.5-hour work week). Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. If your experience aligns more closely with a consultant-level role, we encourage you to also review our other postings.

What You'll Do

  • Support engagement and facilitation, Rights and interests assessment, Indigenous Knowledge studies, socio-economic services, and related human environment work.
  • Complete research, note-taking, data organization, analysis, writing, and reporting tasks that are clear, accurate, and well documented.
  • Help prepare engagement materials, meeting summaries, technical inputs, and project deliverables for internal and external audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Nations, regulators, industry, and project teams to understand diverse perspectives and support balanced approaches.
  • Contribute to high-quality deliverables, effective project coordination, and constructive multidisciplinary teamwork.

For a complete description of responsibilities, please visit the full posting on our website.

What We're Looking For

  • One to three years of relevant experience in consulting, research, engagement, planning, policy, environmental assessment, Indigenous relations, or a related field.
  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant field such as social sciences, Indigenous studies, planning, policy, geography, environmental studies, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • An interest in social and cultural impact work, including engagement, Indigenous relations, Rights and interests assessment, socio-economic services, impact assessment, policy, or planning.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to organize information clearly for technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to accuracy, quality, and documentation.
  • Comfort learning across multiple projects and priorities, both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Indigenous lived experience is considered a strong asset.
