Opportunity Type: Regular Summary: This Analyst position will work with affiliates that pose a significant risk to this ministry. The primary responsibility will be working with affiliates to monitor compliance, conduct risk assessments, outline action steps, and make referrals for disciplinary action. Will cross train for other work areas on the team to provide back up when required due to heavy workload. As our Analyst- Compliance Solutions , you’ll partner with affiliates facing operational or governance challenges, helping them assess risk, develop corrective action plans, and build long-term sustainability. This role requires equal parts relationship management, strategic thinking, project management, and sound judgment. What You’ll Do You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to affiliates while helping Habitat maintain strong organizational standards by: Conducting comprehensive risk assessments for at-risk affiliates. Partnering with affiliate leadership to develop practical corrective action plans. Monitoring compliance with Habitat policies and ministry requirements. Evaluating affiliate submissions and presenting recommendations to the Compliance Committee. Developing measurable improvement plans for affiliates on probation. Tracking organizational risk trends and preparing reports for leadership. Designing and improving systems, tools, and processes that strengthen affiliate oversight. Collaborating across teams to solve complex organizational challenges. Supporting additional compliance functions through cross-training and team collaboration. What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3–5 years of experience working with Habitat for Humanity or a similar nonprofit organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities. Experience building collaborative relationships while navigating sensitive situations. Compassion, patience, persistence, and sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in: Nonprofit organizational risk assessments Compliance or governance Conflict resolution or mediation Organizational development Change management Continuous process improvement Performance monitoring and reporting Knowledge of Habitat for Humanity’s mission and affiliate model is highly preferred. Hiring Range: The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance.
