POSITION SUMMARY: L1 Support role involves monitoring bots and automated processes to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of tasks. The role includes handling basic incidents, troubleshooting common issues, and escalating critical problems to higher support levels. It also focuses on maintaining system stability by performing routine checks and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: L1 Support (UiPath & Python Automation) Manage and monitor UiPath environments, particularly UiPath Orchestrator, including bot configuration, job monitoring, queue management, code migrations, assets management and first-level troubleshooting of automation failures Basic understanding of Python, AWS, GitHub & Shell scripting Monitor bot schedules, queues, and triggers through UiPath Orchestrator and supporting tools to ensure timely and successful automation runs. Perform initial RCA and troubleshooting of automation failures, including application issues, data discrepancies, environment errors, and credential problems. Analyze error logs, execution reports, and alerts to identify common issues and apply predefined fixes or workarounds. Handle incident tickets and service requests within defined SLAs, documenting root cause, resolution steps, and outcomes clearly. Restart jobs, reprocess failed transactions, and perform basic production support activities. Provide Python script support, including validating script execution, resolving basic runtime errors, and coordinating fixes with development teams when required. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to developers with appropriate diagnostic details and evidence Maintain and update runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for recurring issues and standard resolutions. Ensure compliance with security, access, and change management processes while supporting production automations. Participate in daily monitoring, health checks, and shift handovers, ensuring continuity of support. Support minor enhancements, configuration updates, and bot parameter changes under guidance and approved processes. Perform cross-functional coordination, working closely with infrastructure, development, QA, automation, and operations teams to resolve incidents and ensure seamless automation delivery Follow SDLC and ITIL processes, actively participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities by preparing change documentation, supporting approvals, and executing approved changes/code migrations Assist with database operations (Oracle/MySQL), including understanding schema structures, executing basic queries, and troubleshooting connectivity impacting automations QUALIFICATION: B.E. (preferably in Computer Science or IT) Atleast 2 years experience in RPA and UIPath Applied knowledge of AWS Applied knowledge of Python, Shell scripting Experience in Github Willing to work in rotational shift (across 3 shifts) and weekend support for planned maintenance
