The Financial Plan & Analysis job is responsible for supporting the analysis of the organization's financial results. This job supports the financial modeling and implements insights into the company's financial status, including cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, debt, equity, operating income, working capital, etc. Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations, this job participates in modeling activities that identify potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities. Key Responsibilities and Duties Compiles financial data that informs quantitative analysis, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations. Conducts simple analysis of basic financial planning information and reports, to make recommendations to management. Supports month end close process by generating recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching basic general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year. Assists in audit activities and the development of financial plans by drafting financial reports. Updates financial database by identifying sources of information and entering, verifying, and securing data. Assists in the preparation of financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs, and econometric models. Supports the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts to ensure timely and accurate delivery to management. Educational Requirements Vocational and/or Technical Education Preferred Work Experience 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 4IC The role will be responsible for supporting FP&A processes within Nuveen across AUM, Cap Raise, Revenue, and Expense workstreams, involving analysis of numbers from various finance systems and source data, preparation of reporting and variance analysis, and support of monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. The role will also build and maintain management dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, and investigate and resolve discrepancies across systems & drive process improvements.
