Vector Solutions is looking for an Analyst, GTM Operations to join our Revenue Strategy & Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Director of GTM Strategy & Operations, this role will support the analysis and execution of Vector’s go-to-market strategy across areas including sales planning, territory and coverage management, compensation, pricing, and other strategic GTM initiatives.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant exposure to Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Revenue Operations, and other cross-functional teams. The Analyst will work with large datasets, develop reporting and analyses, identify trends and opportunities, and help translate business questions into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate is analytically curious, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and eager to develop a broad understanding of how a SaaS go-to-market organization operate
What You’ll Do
Territory Planning, Performance, & Strategic Insights:
- Support account assignment, territory alignment, and coverage planning processes across sales and post-sale teams.
- Analyze GTM performance across bookings, renewals, pipeline, productivity, territory coverage, capacity, and other key business metrics.
- Develop and maintain recurring reporting and analyses that help GTM leaders understand business performance.
- Analyze performance by sector, product, team, territory, and sales motion to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Support annual and in-year territory, capacity, and quota planning activities.
- Assist with analyses supporting GTM initiatives such as market segmentation, account coverage, renewal performance, and land-and-expand opportunities.
- Translate data and analysis into clear takeaways, recommendations, and presentations for GTM leadership.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, and sector leadership on ad hoc analyses and strategic projects.
Pricing, Deal Desk, and Commercial Governance:
- Support analysis of pricing performance, including discounting, deal trends, product mix, and other commercial metrics.
- Partner with GTM and Finance teams to support pricing and packaging analyses for existing and new offerings.
- Support pricing and deal governance processes, including discount guardrails, approval workflows, and reporting.
- Help identify opportunities to improve commercial processes through data and analysis.
Sales and Pre and Post sales Compensation Design:
- Support annual and in-year compensation & incentive design
- Support sales and pre/post sales compensation plan documentation hygiene, crediting rules, exceptions governance, and policy inputs (new hire/ramp, leave treatments, proration rules, close process).
- BA/BS degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics, sales/revenue operations, FP&A, consulting, finance, business operations, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends and insights.
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or another CRM platform preferred.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Access, or BI/reporting platforms is a plus.
- Ability to translate quantitative analysis into clear business insights and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- A proactive and curious mindset with a willingness to ask questions, learn new areas of the business, and take increasing ownership over time.
