Summary:

In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and evaluation of competitive sourcing events through data analysis, bid management, and contract analytics. You will transform complex supplier, product, pricing, and utilization data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making. You will collaborate with Category Managers, Contract Managers, and cross-functional teams to develop bid tools, validate submissions, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver accurate, timely reporting that supports sourcing strategies and operational efficiency. Position is Hybrid - 3 days onsite.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and validate supplier bid response templates, cross-reference files, and pricing data to support competitive sourcing events.
  • Analyze supplier coverage, product alignment, participation, and pricing data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Validate complex data sets for completeness, consistency, and accuracy while investigating discrepancies and coordinating resolution.
  • Translate business requirements into structured data, analytical approaches, and repeatable processes that support sourcing decisions.
  • Manage assigned workstreams and timelines across multiple sourcing initiatives, proactively identifying and escalating risks or dependencies.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers, Contract Managers, and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver accurate, decision-ready insights.
  • Document analytical methodologies, assumptions, business rules, and process improvements to enhance consistency and scalability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring tasks, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with applicable data governance, contracting, and organizational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required. Healthcare and supply chain management experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, data validation, and structured data management.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Hybrid work schedule - 3 days onsite.


Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $87,900.00.
