Is this job info correct?

Overview Job Purpose The New York Stock Exchange (an Intercontinental Exchange company) is seeking an Analyst, Extended Hours Trading, to join the NYSE Regulation team. The Analyst will have two primary responsibilities. The Analyst will monitor trading activity, potential clearly erroneous executions, company and market news for corporate actions and trading halts, and potential SEC Reg SCI issues in the NYSE overnight trading session (or, extended hours trading). Further, the Analyst will be responsible for escalating identified issues to senior NYSE Regulation staff for further review and resolution. The Analyst will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team and there is opportunity for growth. Responsibilities Monitor designated email inboxes and chat channels throughout the extended hours trading session, maintaining consistent coverage during assigned hours. Review and assess inbound communications to determine urgency, subject matter, and whether it requires escalation or can be resolved with a straightforward response. Triage various issues that may arise during overnight trading and engage with the NYSE Regulation teams to investigate and respond as needed. On a weekly basis, configure the incident management and alerting platform to ensure that the system reflects the correct sequence of escalation of assigned NYSE Regulation staff for the following week. Review and analyze global news to identify material news that may impact trading in a security. Review and analyze press releases for materiality that may necessitate a trading halt. Confirm that corporate actions and halts were implemented at the start of the overnight trading session. Identify instances where foreign markets halt trading in securities that also trade on a NYSE Exchange. Investigate unusual trading activity and rumors pertaining to issuers. Assess trading activity based upon a variety of alerts generated by surveillance systems. Review and escalate requests for trade nullifications due to potentially erroneous executions. Assess system outages as potential events according to Reg SCI and work with other stakeholders to coordinate next steps. Coordinate with staff at other exchanges and trading venues as needed and appropriate. Work on special projects and ad hoc tasks, as identified or assigned. Knowledge and Experience High school diploma required with associate’s degree preferred. Course work in accounting, finance, economics, business, or similar fields preferred. 3+ years of accounting/finance/trading or regulatory experience preferred. General knowledge of the financial markets and/or the securities industry preferred. Prior experience in a triage, dispatch, customer support, or operations coordination role is beneficial but not required. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Self-starter with strong initiative, attention to detail, and sound judgment. Ability to quickly review and extract key points from written communications. Reliable and consistent (the role requires staying attentive throughout work hours). Discretion when handling sensitive or confidential communications. Excellent and confident interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and function efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-oriented, multi-task environment. Ability to interface effectively and professionally with NYSE senior management and representatives of broker dealers, listed issuers, and other market participants. Comfort working non-traditional hours to support extended hours trading. Position is fully remote with office access if desired. Experience with trading data software (Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ) is beneficial. Schedule 8 pm to 4 am ET / 7 pm to 3 am CT / 5 pm to 1 am PT 7 am to 3 pm, Hyderabad, India 8 am to 4 pm, Singapore (hours during onboarding may differ) Remote Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role is between $65,000 - 95,000 USD.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances. #LI-MK2 ---------- Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
