Position Summary Position Summary As a Supply Chain Analyst for Energizer’s Global Auto Care Division, you’ll be responsible for driving all material, planning and purchase order management related duties associated with the review, scheduling, analyzing, reporting and planning of finished goods produced at our Dayton Ohio production facility. This position will be responsible for planning and scheduling finished goods across multiple packaging lines will work at the direction of the Supply Planning Manager. The Supply Chain Analyst will work to resolve planning, inventory, and production issues to ensure customers are being serviced according to their expectations. Responsibilities Specific Accountabilities Review SAP MRP as well as SAP IBP supply-demand requirements and make decisions on replenishment quantities and timing that optimizing inventory position (i.e. working capital) while maximizing fill-rates. The incumbent will would be responsible for planning and scheduling multiple packaging lines with an estimated $15-$25M under their scope of responsibility. Establish and manage relationship with material buyers and line supervision to coordinate production timing and shipment deliveries; track all finished goods to ensure timely delivery to meet operationally JIT requirements. Maintain positive, professional working relationships with all associates while working to ensure we are meeting customer demand Identify and expedite finished goods to account for changes in plan to ensure high customer service levels. Manage inventory levels for assigned product families to ensure high turnover performance. Identify slow moving materials and proactively manage to reduce inventory. Proactively work with the plant and buyers to improve supply planning parameters to improve service level, inventory and responsiveness. Manage all item MRP planning parameters (Master Data) for optimal system performance within SAP/IBP. Develop, run, and generate reports that provide metrics that are clearly actionable. Measure plant performance and schedule adherence to correct non-compliance, performance issues. Coordinate with internal departments on new item introductions, items transitions and item close outs. Track non-scheduled line or product changeovers to ensure root causes are actionable Partner with Sourcing Managers to: work on supplier/supply issues, optimization processes and provide material insights and ordering patterns to optimize the supply chain. Responsible to move materials and finished between plants and warehouses as determined by job function What we are looking for Required Skills and Experience BS/BA (4 year undergraduate) degree is preferred but will consider expertise and experience in the planning field. We require at least 3-5 years of supply chain planning and analysis experience. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and technical skills required. ERP/MRP experience required (SAP MM & PP preferred). SAP, IBP application experience, is preferred. Advanced Excel skills are required. Ability to utilize Microsoft office platform to analyze situations and identify risks and mitigation plans. Must demonstrate an understanding of the supply chain from: plan, source, make, deliver. Focus on capacity and material planning. Must have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with internal and external partners. Prior commodity experience dealing with CPG related materials Strong persuasive skills in managing key suppliers and ability to develop partnerships to drive cost savings. Team player, strong initiative and ability to multi-task/management multiple priorities. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience with CPG, or seasonal businesses, is preferred. Capacity planning / materials replenishment / demand planning is preferred.
