Purpose


The SAP SD Tester is responsible for validating SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) business processes, ensuring system quality, stability, and compliance with business requirements. The role involves functional testing, defect management, test script preparation, and support during SAP implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. Experience working in SAP HANA environments is mandatory.



Key Duties and Responsibilities


· Perform functional testing of SAP SD modules including Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, Returns, Credit Management and Interface testing


· Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements.


· Validate SAP SD processes integrated with MM, FI, WM/EWM, and other SAP modules.


· Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Smoke Testing.


· Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to identify testing requirements.


· Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar tools.


· Validate reports, interfaces, enhancements, and data migration activities in SAP HANA environment.


· Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, developers, and project teams to resolve issues.


· Support test planning, test execution, test reporting, and quality assurance activities.


· Participate in SAP upgrades, rollouts, support projects, and production validation activities.


· Ensure compliance with organizational testing standards and documentation requirements.


· Support hyper care and post-go-live validation activities.


· Support data validation and reconciliation activities during migration and cutover phases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS


Education


Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.


Master's degree or SAP Certification preferred.


Experience


2-3 years of experience in SAP SD Testing with hands-on experience in SAP HANA environment. Experience in SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.


Strong knowledge of SAP SD business processes, Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, and Master Data. Hands-on testing experience in SAP HANA. Knowledge of defect management tools and test management processes.


Experience in S/4HANA projects, automation testing tools, and Agile methodologies.



Other Attributes


Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


SAP SD Certification and S/4HANA knowledge preferred.
