The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced, French and English speaking Technical Analyst to join our fast-paced software engineering team. You will drive the design of robust, scalable RESTful API services for high-impact FinTech, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), and Open Banking projects. What You’ll Do API Design & Specs: Architect RESTful APIs in an API-first context using OpenAPI (Swagger) and JSON Schema. Agile Requirements: Write clear, estimable user stories with testable acceptance criteria in JIRA/Confluence. System Architecture: Collaborate with engineers to design data models, messaging contracts, and event-driven microservices. API Validation: Test and verify APIs using Postman/Insomnia; model processes using BPMN/UML. Testing & Quality: Define BDD test scenarios using Gherkin and generate test datasets. Mentorship & Support: Coach junior analysts, support QA/Delivery teams, and author customer-facing documentation. What You’ll Bring Domain Expertise: Strong background in FinTech APIs, BaaS platforms, embedded finance, and Open Banking (consent models, secure API design). Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in REST, HTTP, SQL, Git, and Postman/Insomnia. Agile & Communication: Proven experience delivering user stories, facilitating agile ceremonies, and bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders. Process Modeling: Hands-on experience with BPMN, UML, and event-driven workflows. Bonus Points For Experience In Crypto/digital asset ecosystems (wallets, custody, tokenisation, fiat-crypto exchange).
