We're looking for an ambitious and analytical professional to join our Retailer Vertical team in Denmark on a 11-month fixed term contract.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Would you like to be part of a team servicing the biggest FMCG retailers in Denmark? In this role, you will work very closely with the assigned client, helping them to make better decisions based on research and sales data. You will build great relationships with the clients through market analysis, insights and recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Partnership & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor by delivering analytical insights, recommendations, reports, presentations, and day-to-day data support.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive stakeholder management and continuous alignment on analytical priorities.
- Support client retention and satisfaction by providing business-focused solutions, workshops, and analytical training sessions.
- Identify business challenges, opportunities, and growth drivers, recommending relevant NielsenIQ solutions.
Analytics & Insights
- Analyze market, category, and sales data to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to presentations and strategic discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize NielsenIQ's data platforms, tools, and solution portfolio to support client objectives.
Business Impact
- Drive customer satisfaction and improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) through high-quality support and business sparring.
- Challenge established thinking and support clients in making informed decisions that drive growth.
- Help clients maximize the value they receive from NielsenIQ's data, services, and expertise.
ABOUT YOU
For this business crucial role, you will have to possess strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. You are a team player - orientated to details and an analytical approach will make you successful in the analytical part of the job. It is key to be able to transform data into insights and conclusions and to visualize it in a simplified way. You thrive in an environment where no two days are alike. For the client-facing part, great presentation and communication skills are needed. The key is to be a good listener and to understand what our clients really need and want from NielsenIQ and can act with speed.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of experience within Retail, FMCG, market research, analytics, category management, or a related field.
- Fluent in both Danish and English
- Good numerical confidence and ability to translate numbers into insights and recommendations.
- Great skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical and/or sales experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to build trust and drive engagement.
- An ambitious mindset, not afraid of challenging the status quo and the client.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Knowledge of NielsenIQ data from either Answers Desktop or Discover would be considered as an advantage
