The current application systems architecture supporting order to cash, produce to deliver and record to record business capabilities is not adapted to the business growth and evolution beyond 2026.
The EOS Digital Core program is a $400M USD program to design, build, deploy and service the reusable clean SAP S4Hana core and the edge systems specific to Royal Canin including Salesforce and OMP. The EOS DC program is an ERP transformation as well as a business process transformation across Finance, S2P, O2C, P2F, Q&FS and sustainability. The roadmap to transform the process and implement the new ERP and other tech stack is through 2030.
This Analytics4EOS Lead role is accountable for the definition and deployment of the Digital Core reporting and analytics solution. This role will work with the Global Process Owners, business process subject matter experts and peer roles in other functions to design and deploy world class End to End reporting and analytics solutions
What are we looking for?
- Comprehensive understanding of Mars reporting and analytics solutions, including SAP BW, Azure data lake, and Power BI (5+ yrs)
- Previous experience with Mars transformation projects, preferably experience in SAP implementation
- Proficiency working with and analysing complex datasets; identifying trends and patterns to support data-driven decisions
- Understanding of SAP ECC and S/4 data models
- SAP data and analytics experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings and coordinate with various partner teams
- Cross team collaboration and problem solving
What will be your key responsibilities?
The Analytics4EOS Lead is an expert on Royal Canin reporting and analytics solutions and related systems in the global Mars environment.
As part of this transformation program the role will, with the support and knowledge of enterprise and consulting experts, understand and own the reporting and analytics design in our new SAP S/4, Edge, and digital reporting environments. Using these skills the role will ensure a fit for purpose reporting and analytics design for Royal Canin. Design and support all the regional markets with a standardized deployment and stabilization model to support the Royal Canin business objectives of “easier to work with, easier to work for”. This role is accountable for the solution delivery and market uptake and ownership for the related functional areas.
Together with a team of associate and/or contractor reporting and analytics analysts, the Analytics4EOS Lead will:
- Drive consistency and standardisation in reporting by engaging with process owners to catalogue reporting requirements
- Challenge, harmonise, standardise reporting requirements within a functional domain, across regions & markets for process performance management
- Participate in and contribute to guiding process owners with respect to standard reporting solutions
- Be responsible for ensuring data architecture of data model is fit for purpose for reporting needs and aligned to the strategic requirements.
- Collaborate with GDO teams to design and implement solutions, conduct detailed analysis, provide recommendations for process and system improvements
- Present business requirements to stakeholders and perform gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities
- Educate business on self-service aspects to consume reports and make user specific changes
- Work closely with third party System Integrator partners to deliver quality, scalable and robust enterprise reporting solutions
In addition to collaborating on the processes within SAP S4 that rely upon a cohesive reporting and analytics products, partnering with teams delivering and managing reporting capabilities in Edge systems and Royal Canin data lake environments will be key to successful implementation. Another critical success factor for this role will be sustaining the consistency and reliability of reporting solutions throughout the interim state period.
