What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for mobile solutions, promoting best practices and scalable designs.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.

What are we looking for?

At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:

• Demonstrable professional experience of at least 6 years in Android mobile development.
• Proficiency in Android native development, with strong expertise in Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Ability to work fully remote from Portugal and legally authorised to work in the country.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Alignment with our corporate culture and a commitment to integrity and ethics are highly valued;
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritisation, and daily commitment are highly appreciated.
