Reporting to a Divisional Sales Manager, this role combines strategic territory development, relationship management and point-of-sale support to help financial advisors address clients’ retirement income needs.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is fully virtual, however individuals must currently reside in the territory, as travel through the assigned territory is required.

What you can expect:

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to grow Prudential fixed and variable annuity production across the assigned Bank/Wire and Edward Jones channel.
  • Build, deepen and sustain relationships with new and existing financial advisors and key distribution partners.
  • Deliver compelling product, market and retirement-income presentations that connect Prudential solutions to advisor and client needs.
  • Provide point-of-sale support that helps advisors position annuity solutions within holistic retirement planning conversations.
  • Use knowledge of financial markets, competitive dynamics, and advisor needs to identify opportunities and adapt sales priorities.
  • Partner closely with an aligned Internal Wholesaler to execute territory strategies, identify opportunities, and deepen advisor engagement.
  • Manage a high-travel regional schedule while maintaining consistent follow-through, communication, and sales discipline.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong financial services sales experience.
  • Experience selling annuities, retirement income, or wealth management solutions through advisor distribution channels.
  • Experience working with financial advisors, registered representatives, or wealth management professionals, with strong knowledge of fixed and variable annuity products, retirement income strategies, and advisor-based distribution channels.
  • Proven ability to develop territory business plans, execute sales strategies, and drive production results.
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 registrations, plus required resident and/or non-resident state insurance licenses as defined by the territory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory (approximately 80%).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

It’d be a plus if you had:

  • Demonstrated success growing annuity sales within a geographically dispersed Bank/Wire and Edward Jones channel.
