AML Manager - Financial Services Regulatory & Risk Consulting | Ireland (Hybrid)

About the company
Our client is a leading international professional services firm with more than 1,000 people across Cork, Dublin, Galway and Limerick. It is part of a global partnership of over 50,000 professionals in more than 100 countries. Its Financial Services Regulatory & Risk Consulting team advises Fintechs, banks, insurers and asset managers in Ireland and abroad on regulatory change, technological disruption and changing market expectations.

The role
As AML Manager, you will be the team's anti-money laundering subject matter expert. You'll lead high-profile AML engagements, including investigations mandated by the Central Bank of Ireland and international regulators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead AML assignments covering regulatory change programmes, regulator-mandated investigations and assurance reviews such as AML internal audits
  • Manage client relationships, deliver high-quality service and bring in expertise from other service lines
  • Manage, coach and develop junior team members
  • Support business development by writing proposals and thought leadership and representing the firm at industry conferences
  • Report to senior leadership on departmental goals, and broaden your expertise into governance, enterprise risk, compliance and conduct risk

About you

  • You have at least five years' AML experience, gained in professional services or within a regulated financial services firm
  • You know the Central Bank of Ireland's (or an equivalent regulator's) expectations of regulated firms in practice
  • You hold a relevant qualification such as ACAMS, a Compliance Institute qualification or ACA
  • You understand financial services sub-sectors such as banking, funds, payments and insurance, and keep up with AML developments
  • You communicate clearly, are well organised, and are comfortable supervising projects and guiding others to deadlines

Why apply?
This AML Manager role sits in an established, collaborative and forward-thinking team that invests in your professional and personal growth. You'll get excellent training, a clear career path and a people-first culture built on inclusion, belonging and collaboration across borders. The role is hybrid, so you can split your time between home and one of four offices in Ireland. If you want to have a real impact in a fast-moving, high-growth sector, this AML Manager opportunity is a strong next step.
