This role covers functional solution architecture within Retail, with a particular focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Commerce/POS and solutions that support pharmacy operations, goods flow, finance, logistics and store processes at Apotek 1.
As Solution Architect D365 F&O/POS, you will play a central role in the further development and management of our Retail solutions. You will contribute to holistic and maintainable solutions across D365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, POS, Azure integrations and related applications.
You will be part of the Business Applications department and work day to day in the Retail Product Team. Here, you will collaborate closely with the business, product owner, technical platform architect, Tech/Ops Lead, operations, support and suppliers. The role combines functional architecture, process understanding, requirements clarification, solution design, testing, documentation and continuous improvement.
You will join a growing Azure and Dynamics 365 F&O & Commerce environment, with several internal resources and an IT department of around 120 employees.
Responsibilities
To succeed, you should work in a structured way, take ownership and care about quality in solutions and documentation. You communicate clearly about choices, consequences and dependencies, and help create a shared understanding across the business, IT and suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Translate business needs and process requirements into functional solution proposals, designs, test documentation and documentation
- Ensure the quality of solution choices and assess consequences for processes, user experience, data, integrations, operations and support
- Plan and carry out changes, releases, production deployments, testing and training together with the business, IT and suppliers
- Contribute to incident analysis, root cause analysis, supplier cases and the handling of recurring deviations
- Maintain documentation and knowledge articles, share expertise and participate in the Retail on-call arrangement according to an agreed plan

Qualifications
- Relevant higher education within IT, computer science, information systems, technology or similar. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
- Experience with functional solution architecture, application management, super-user or business roles, or process-oriented development of business-critical applications.
- Solid functional competence within at least one of the following modules: D365 Finance, Supply Chain Management or Commerce/POS.
- Experience with requirements clarification, process analysis, functional design, testing, documentation, training and quality assurance of changes.
- Experience from retail, goods flow, finance, logistics, store processes, support or close operational follow-up is an advantage.
- Good oral and written Norwegian skills, equivalent to B2 level or higher.
