Role Description This is a remote volunteer role for an App Store Manager / Release Manager at Brik. The role involves overseeing the publication and updates of Brik’s applications across relevant app stores, including managing release schedules, versioning, and rollout strategies. The App Store Manager / Release Manager will coordinate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure that app releases are accurate, timely, and aligned with user experience and business goals. Day-to-day tasks include preparing release notes, monitoring app store performance and user feedback, ensuring compliance with store policies, and optimizing listings (descriptions, visuals, keywords) to improve discoverability and engagement. The role also includes tracking issues post-release, supporting incident communication, and recommending improvements based on analytics and customer insights.
Qualifications

• Customer-focused capabilities such as Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to support positive user experiences and respond effectively to feedback.
• Strong Communication skills to coordinate release activities across teams and maintain clear documentation and status updates.
• Store Management experience to oversee app store listings, compliance, and optimization of metadata, visuals, and release configurations.
• Awareness of Retail Loss Prevention or risk mitigation practices to minimize app-related issues, policy violations, and reputational risk.
• Experience managing mobile or web app releases, including familiarity with app store consoles (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Console).
• Ability to interpret analytics and performance metrics to refine release strategies and improve user acquisition and retention.
• Organized, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple releases, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a remote setting.
• Previous experience in fintech, proptech, or digital platforms in emerging markets is beneficial, as is an interest in real estate accessibility across Africa.
