Role Overview

For our client, we are looking for 2 Application Carve-out Lead / Specialists capable of independently driving assigned application separation activities from planning through to execution and validation. The role is designed to add independent execution capacity and reduce day-to-day carve-out planning burdens currently managed by IT Service Managers.

• Resource 1 Focus: Support for Group Finance applications (HFM Hyperion, IPM Anaplan, Tagetik, Workiva).
• Resource 2 Focus: Support for project FX hedging and calculation application (PROFIT).

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned application carve-out activities rather than just coordinating and reporting.
• Establish and maintain application-level carve-out plans, activities, dependencies, and readiness.
• Identify and manage dependencies related to applications, integrations, data, environments, user access, infrastructure, and vendors.
• Drive technical and functional separation activities through testing, cutover, and validation.
• Proactively identify gaps, risks, and issues, ensuring proper technical and operational documentation is maintained.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in enterprise application lifecycle, implementation, migration, or separation activities.
• Previous experience in IT carve-outs, demergers, M&A integrations, or comparable application transformation programs.
• Good understanding of enterprise application dependencies (integrations, data flows, identity/access, environments, and vendors).
• Proven experience in planning and executing testing, deployment, cutover, and validation activities.
• Self-driven, proactive, and hands-on working style with strong structured problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
