Why This Role Matters As an Application Developer Senior Analyst in Global Manufacturing IT, you will help support Goodyear plants by building and improving IT solutions that enhance production, quality, and operational efficiency. In this role, you’ll partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to understand their needs and turn them into practical, reliable solutions. Your work will play an important role in keeping our manufacturing operations innovative, efficient, and resilient. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and support IT systems and third-party solutions used in manufacturing environments Test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve systems to ensure reliability and data accuracy Provide support, training, and guidance to teams during system rollouts or updates Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand challenges and co-create effective solutions Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and applications Contribute ideas and apply modern technologies to improve existing systems and workflows Continue learning and exploring new tools, technologies, and manufacturing concepts What You’ll Bring Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field Around 4–5 years of experience applying IT solutions in business or manufacturing environments Fluency in English Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering reliable results Preferred Qualifications Experience with some of the following: Linux, C, PHP, SQL, ActiveMQ/Camel, ExtJs, C#/.NET, or containerization (Docker/Podman) Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Ansible, shell scripting, Jenkins, or Nexus Interest in learning about manufacturing processes and tire production We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
