What to do: Manage and support business-critical trading applications throughout their lifecycle Ensure stable operations, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement Partner with traders and business stakeholders to optimize processes and user experience Coordinate changes, releases, upgrades, and vendor activities Drive automation, operational excellence, and platform resilience Contribute to our growing data and AI capabilities by working with modern technologies such as Databricks and cloud-based data platforms Collaborate with business experts, architects, data engineers, and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions You check these boxes: 5+ years of experience in IT, ideally in Application Management, Production Support, or Financial Services Experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server environments Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of application lifecycle management and IT service processes Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring solutions Familiarity with trading, capital markets, securities, or banking applications is a plus Interest or experience in Databricks, SQL, data engineering, cloud platforms, AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI Team-oriented and willing to meet our team every week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Erste Campus Willingness to work based on functional staffing time during trading hours and to perform specific maintenance tasks on weekends (based upon alignment) Excellent English skills; German is an advantage Why you will like us: Work directly with traders in a dynamic environment Join a team of experienced professionals with deep business and technical expertise Gain exposure to leading trading technologies and business-critical systems Benefit from continuous learning and development opportunities Interest groups and clubs: Take part in discussions and get involved in projects.
