Application Portfolio Manager

About the role

I’m currently supporting a search for an Application Portfolio Manager to join a large, international organisation undergoing significant IT transformation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure, governance and strategic direction to complex application environments.

Your responsibilities

• • Developing the strategy and operating model for Application Lifecycle Management
  • Driving application portfolio optimisation, consolidation and decommissioning
  • Establishing governance, processes and standards across the application landscape
  • Improving visibility of application ownership, lifecycle, risk, compliance and technical debt
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team and working closely with senior IT and business stakeholders
  • Partnering with Architecture, Security, Compliance and Technology teams on strategic initiatives
  • Supporting a major technology transformation and integration programme

Requirements

• Several years of experience in enterprise IT, application management, IT governance or related areas
• Strong experience in application portfolio/lifecycle management and IT governance
• Proven track record of leading transformation, rationalisation, consolidation or modernisation initiatives
• Experience building governance frameworks, processes or new organisational capabilities
• Strong understanding of IT risk, compliance, cybersecurity and audit

• Extensive line management experience
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in complex, international organisations
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, CMDB or Jira would be an advantage

Compensation

The salary for this role ranges from PLN 15,000 to PLN 25,000 per month.

Your first months at Pertemps ERP

During your first months, you will take ownership of the existing application inventory, review current software expenditures, and establish relationships with key technical stakeholders across the business.
