Every time a customer shops, schedules service, tracks a vehicle purchase, or manages ownership through MyDriveway, they're relying on a seamless digital experience. As a Quality Engineer, you'll help ensure those experiences are fast, reliable, accessible, and ready for millions of customer interactions.
You'll work alongside Software Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to build quality into every stage of development, using automation, modern testing practices, and AI-powered tools to deliver exceptional web and mobile experiences. Target Hiring Range: $70,000-$95,000
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain automated test suites that keep quality at the forefront of every release.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to identify risks early and ensure quality is built in from the start.
- Validate functionality, accessibility, and performance across customer-facing web and mobile applications.
- Investigate, document, and help resolve issues before they impact customers.
- Explore AI-driven testing approaches and tools to improve automation coverage and efficiency.
- Utilize tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate testing and automation efforts.
- Collaborate with other Quality Engineers to establish best practices and raise quality standards across teams.
- Participate in a Tier-3 on-call rotation supporting the products your team builds.
What You'll Bring
- 1-3+ years of experience testing high-scale web or mobile applications.
- Experience building automated tests using Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud-based environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with containerized development environments.
- Familiarity with modern technologies including React and Kotlin.
- A passion for automation, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Curiosity around emerging technologies, including AI-assisted testing and quality engineering practices.
Total Rewards
At Lithia & Driveway, we believe in pay transparency. The full compensation range for this position is $70,000–$105,000, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
