Cyberstar, LLC is seeking an Application Specialist to support the National Park Service (NPS) Enterprise Facility Management Software System (EFMSS). This position supports the development, maintenance, testing, and enhancement of enterprise applications built on the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) platform. The Application Specialist works collaboratively with developers, database administrators, business stakeholders, and government personnel to ensure application reliability, usability, and performance while supporting ongoing modernization and operations efforts. Responsibilities Support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of EFMSS applications and related systems. Develop, test, and implement application fixes, updates, and system enhancements. Assist with requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development activities. Support application integrations, data management, and reporting requirements. Troubleshoot application issues and participate in root cause analysis and resolution efforts. Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operating procedures. Participate in change management, testing, deployment, and release activities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted. 3+ years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Application Developer, or related technical role. 2+ years of experience with Visual Basic .NET and C#. Experience supporting application development, testing, implementation, and maintenance activities. Successfully pass background and drug screening Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environments. Experience with Java, Python, PHP, SQL, XML, or related technologies. Experience supporting federal government information systems. Experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases. Experience working in Agile or iterative software development environments. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and application support activities. Ability to analyze requirements and develop effective technical solutions. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple assignments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
