As an Application Tester, you play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our enterprise applications. You safeguard the user experience by meticulously testing software packages and deployments, identifying issues before they impact our operations. Position Responsibilities:
- Performs comprehensive QA Testing on application packages and deployments, ensuring functionality, compatibility, and adherence to established standards.
- Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects, collaborating with development and packaging teams for efficient troubleshooting and defect resolution.
- Utilizes various packaging tools such as Admin Studio, Flexera, SCCM, App-V, MSIX, and MSI packaging to understand package structure and test integrity.
- Validates the correct implementation of transforms (MST) for customized application configurations.
- Develops and executes test cases for applications that incorporate scripting (PowerShell, VBScript).
- Ensures applications are prepared for enterprise deployment and ongoing patch management processes.
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of product technical documentation.
- Applies strong problem-solving skills to complex technical challenges during the testing lifecycle.
- Participates actively in an Agile Delivery environment, contributing to sprints and continuous improvement.
- Tests integrations and applications built with Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
- Updating baseline configuration with an emphasis on hardware drivers
- Understand reporting of logs and communicate clearly with leading pack team
- Applies expert knowledge of QA Testing methodologies and best practices.
- Possesses strong abilities in troubleshooting and defect resolution.
- Understands and utilizes packaging tools including Admin Studio, Flexera, SCCM, App-V, MSIX, and MSI packaging.
- Works with transforms (MST) for application customization.
- Applies knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, VBScript) for testing and automation.
- Familiarity with concepts of enterprise deployment and patch management.

- Must have application and testing experience for windows client operating systems
- Experience with performance use of application testing
- Experience with tests and defect management tools
- Knowledge of analysis and configurations setting
- Experience with bug reporting and data gathering for lead engineers/packagers
- Experience with functionality of drivers and performance
- Observation, attentions to detail skills and performance on tester creating reporting
- Able to obtain a public trust clearance.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum years of experience is 3 years
- Demonstrates experience in application testing, quality assurance, or a related IT role.
- Works effectively with various software and system environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, or ServiceNow is a plus.
- Holds a Microsoft or packaging-related certification.
- Possesses experience with automated testing tools.
