Description of Work Salary Range: $91,600 - $160,299 The position is designated Statutory Exempt (EHRA) and is exempt from the State Human Resources Act This position may be eligible for hybrid remote work in accordance with state policy and the agency’s remote work program but does require weekly onsite work. We currently have an opening for an Applications Systems Specialist II The Applications Systems Specialist II serves as a senior-level application systems specialist responsible for independently designing, developing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise and cloud-based applications, primarily within the ServiceNow platform. The role translates business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing application solutions, manages application system implementations, and provides advanced technical leadership and Tier 3 application support across a portfolio of mission-critical systems supporting NCDOT operations and public-facing services. The ServiceNow Customer Workflows section within Business Services meets with NCDOT clients and establishes strategic business requirements needed to create ServiceNow scoped applications. These scoped applications are developed and used to streamline and improve business processes and workflows for over 10 million North Carolina constituents. Specific applications include ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) under Public Services Digital Services (PSDS), and multiple custom-built applications.
