Join Pearson TQ and help develop the next generation of healthcare professionals through exceptional apprenticeship assessment, coaching and learner support. You'll guide learners through their Senior Healthcare Support Worker Level 3 apprenticeship while supporting successful achievement and progression. Also known in the market as: Healthcare Assessor, Clinical Assessor, Apprenticeship Assessor, Vocational Assessor, Healthcare Skills Coach.
About the Role
Pearson TQ is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our apprenticeship delivery team as an Apprenticeship Assessor – Clinical Healthcare.
You will support learners working towards the Senior Healthcare Support Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed within their roles and complete their apprenticeship successfully.
This role combines home-based assessment activity with travel across Hampshire and surrounding learner locations, including workplace visits and observations.
What You'll Do
- Deliver apprenticeship coaching, assessment and learner support.
- Conduct workplace observations and assessments.
- Monitor learner progress against achievement targets.
- Prepare learners for Gateway and End Point Assessment.
- Deliver regular learner reviews and employer engagement.
- Maintain accurate records and programme documentation.
- Support learner achievement and timely completion.
- Build strong employer and stakeholder relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Healthcare or Health & Social Care qualification.
- Level 3 Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent).
- Clinical healthcare experience.
- Experience supporting learners and assessment programmes.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to provide detailed written feedback.
- Strong organisational and caseload management skills.
- Confidence using digital systems and learner platforms.
- Ability to work independently and travel regularly.
Location & Working Pattern
Hybrid role with workplace visits and learner observations around Tidworth.
