Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Remote (Preference: Latin America | Open to South Africa & Philippines)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time (US)

Compensatio: $2,000 per month, depending on experience.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support the financial operations of a growing U.S. construction company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing AR and AP processes within the U.S. construction industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Generate and issue customer invoices.
• Monitor outstanding receivables.
• Follow up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile customer payments.
• Prepare AR reports.
  
  

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare payment runs.
• Maintain vendor records.
• Resolve billing discrepancies.
  
  

Financial Administration

• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Support reporting and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Familiarity with AIA billing process
• Previous experience within the U.S. construction industry (required).
• Quickbooks Online knowledge
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must come out of a construction background
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with construction accounting processes.
• Experience working remotely with U.S.-based companies.
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
