What you'll be doing:
• Following up on unpaid, denied, and underpaid insurance claims
• Contacting payers to resolve outstanding balances
• Researching and resolving issues through payer portals
• Working denials and underpayments across government and commercial payers
• Preparing and submitting appeals
• Documenting account activity accurately in Epic
• Tracking reimbursement and denial trends and reporting findings
What you'll need:
• 2+ years of PB Insurance Collections experience
• Experience with both Government and Commercial payer accounts
• 2+ years of Epic EMR experience
• Strong background in DRG back-end denials and appeals within Epic
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
