Medior/Senior Aras Innovator PLM Developer

At Theoden B.V., we're looking for a Medior/Senior Aras PLM Developer to help us design, build, integrate, and maintain robust Aras Innovator solutions.

You'll join a specialist team working on challenging PLM projects for high-tech manufacturing companies (semicon, aerospace, electronics, etc.). As an Aras Innovator developer, you'll collaborate closely with our engineers and customer teams while taking ownership of your technical work.

Location: Netherlands

Work setup: Hybrid or remote possible (European time zone)

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize Aras Innovator solutions.
• Translate functional requirements and use cases into maintainable technical implementations.
• Build server-side and client-side methods using C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
• Work with AML queries, OData REST APIs, SQL, and Aras programming constructs.
• Integrate Aras Innovator with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise applications.
• Support Aras Innovator deployments, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.
• Diagnose technical issues and improve the performance, usability, and scalability of existing solutions.
• Write clear technical documentation and contribute to solution designs.
• Collaborate directly with customer stakeholders, functional consultants, and other developers.
• Review code and help the team apply consistent development practices.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional software development experience, including hands-on work with Aras Innovator.
• Good knowledge of Aras concepts such as ItemTypes, Relationships, Life Cycles, Workflows, Permissions, Forms, and Methods.
• Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AML, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Aras integrations and REST-based APIs.
• Understanding of PLM processes and enterprise application development.
• Ability to turn requirements into practical, maintainable solutions.
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A structured, independent working style and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Professional English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills useful for customer-facing work, but not a hard requirement.
• Experience with Aras DevOps (or Azure DevOps), but this is not a hard requirement.
• Experience with Aras Innovator upgrades, migrations, or complex integrations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and source control.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, or product-development processes.
• Experience with additional PLM, ERP, or CAD platforms.
