Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Designer to support the delivery of high-quality architectural and interior documentation across all project stages—from concept through to construction. This role combines technical expertise, creativity, and strong documentation skills to produce buildable, compliant, and well-coordinated drawings.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, and interior documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Translate design concepts into clear, accurate, and buildable documentation
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design issues
• Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and client communication
• Support construction phase by ensuring adherence to design intent
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and design practices
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and incorporate feedback into designs
Requirements
• 2–4+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Revit (intermediate to advanced) and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of interior construction, joinery detailing, and materials
• Experience in documentation for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects
• Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA, and accessibility requirements
• Ability to interpret design intent and produce accurate documentation
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Experience with BIM workflows and consultant coordination (advantageous)
• Relevant qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or Building Design
• Experience in town planning and building permits (preferred but not essential)
