About the opportunity
GoLive Recruitment is partnering with a well-established IFS partner to find an experienced Solution Architect. Our client delivers IFS Cloud implementations for both local Polish and international customers across sectors such as manufacturing, service management, asset-intensive industries, and energy.
This is a senior, fully remote position for someone who wants to own the solution end to end – shaping the target architecture, guiding functional and technical teams, and acting as the trusted advisor customers rely on throughout their IFS Cloud journey. The role
As Solution Architect you are the design authority on IFS Cloud projects, translating business requirements into a coherent, scalable and maintainable solution. You will work closely with project managers, functional consultants, developers and customer stakeholders from pre-sales through to go-live and beyond.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for IFS Cloud implementations, ensuring the design meets business, functional and technical requirements.
- Lead solution design workshops with customer stakeholders, capturing requirements and mapping them to standard IFS Cloud capabilities.
- Make and document key design decisions, balancing standard functionality against configuration and custom development to minimise technical debt.
- Define the integration architecture between IFS Cloud and third-party systems, using IFS Connect, REST/OData APIs and middleware.
- Guide data migration strategy, environment strategy and the approach to extensions, custom pages and workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to functional and technical consultants across the delivery team.
- Support pre-sales activities: solution scoping, estimation, proposals and client presentations.
- Safeguard delivery quality by reviewing configurations, customisations and designs against IFS best practice and upgrade-safe principles.
- Act as the escalation point for complex design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of experience delivering ERP implementations, with significant hands-on time on IFS (IFS Applications 9/10 and/or IFS Cloud).
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant on full-cycle IFS implementations.
- Strong understanding of IFS Cloud architecture, data model and core modules across at least one domain (e.g. Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Service/FSM, or EAM).
- Solid grasp of integration patterns and IFS technical tooling – IFS Connect, REST/OData APIs, projections, events and custom fields.
- Ability to lead workshops and communicate confidently with both business and technical audiences.
- Experience guiding delivery teams and setting technical standards.
- Fluent English; Polish is an advantage given the local client base.
- Comfortable working fully remotely within a distributed delivery team, with willingness to travel to client sites when required.
Nice to have
- IFS certifications or accreditation as an IFS partner consultant/architect.
- Exposure to multiple industry verticals and international, multi-country rollouts.
- Experience with cloud/hosting models, DevOps for IFS, or IFS lifecycle experience (Aurena, Lifecycle Experience portal).
- Background in pre-sales and estimation for ERP engagements.
