Area Sales Manager - Rigid Packaging

George Thomas are partnered on an Area Sales Manager - Benelux search.

This is for a global rigid packaging company and they are seeking an experienced packaging sales person to be based in Belgium.

This position will inherit a large client portfolio (circa €15M).

This position will be remote based in Belgium with frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and develop business within the assigned benelux territory, consistently achieving sales objectives.

- Cultivate and sustain long-term partnerships with key clients.

- Create and execute sales strategies, identify growth opportunities, and report on performance.

- Collaborate closely with product, customer service, and international teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Lead negotiations, manage pricing and profitability, and conduct market research to keep ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.

- >3 years of sales experience within the packaging industry

- Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willing to travel frequently; comfortable working from a home office.
