Job Description Fabletics is currently looking for a Art Director. How Do You Fit In? As the Art Director, you'll be responsible for leading ecommerce photography across assigned categories and supporting the visual execution of seasonal creative direction across high-volume productions. This role partners closely with Styling, Photography, Production and Retouching to create imagery that is elevated, product-focused and globally scalable. While ecommerce is the primary focus, the ideal candidate has experience in editorial photography and understands how to apply an editorial mindset to commercial imagery. This role will independently lead ecommerce shoots while supporting editorial productions and special projects as business needs evolve. At Fabletics, great creative starts with great teams. As our business grows across ecommerce, editorial, campaigns, retail and global markets, we're looking for an Art Director with a strong eye for fashion photography and visual storytelling to help shape the next evolution of our imagery, primarily focused on Women's ecommerce photography, bringing an editorial sensibility that elevates product storytelling across Women's, Men's, Yitty and Scrubs. This position will report to the Senior Art Director . What You Will Do: Ecommerce Photography Lead the art direction of ecommerce photography across assigned categories, ensuring elevated and consistent execution across high-volume productions. Translate seasonal creative direction into elevated, consistent daily shoot execution with strong composition, lighting and framing. Develop visual presentations, moodboards and creative decks that communicate concepts, references and seasonal creative direction from ideation through execution. Direct model posing, movement and expression for imagery that feels authentic, modern and commercially effective. Creative Execution Partner with the Senior Art Director to bring seasonal creative direction to life across ecommerce photography. Contribute visual references and creative input throughout pre production, support model direction and casting. Help evolve ecommerce creative standards and occasionally support editorial productions and special projects. Cross Functional Partnership Partner closely with Styling so wardrobe, product presentation and visual storytelling align with creative intent. Collaborate with Production to execute efficient, high quality shoots. Build strong relationships with photographers, producers, stylists and retouchers that elevate quality and efficiency. Image Review & Post Production Own image selects across ecommerce photography, ensuring assets meet creative, product and brand standards. Provide thoughtful retouching feedback so imagery meets creative and brand standards. Review for product accuracy, styling consistency and overall quality, keeping final assets consistent before delivery. Drive Creative Excellence Bring an editorial perspective to ecommerce photography without compromising product clarity. Stay informed on evolving fashion, photography and visual culture to continually elevate creative output. Contribute ideas that improve workflows and help evolve Fabletics' visual language across global markets. What You Can Bring: Experience 4 to 6+ years of photo art direction experience within fashion, apparel or retail. Demonstrated experience leading high volume ecommerce photography. Exceptional eye for composition, lighting, movement and visual storytelling. Strong understanding of both ecommerce and editorial photography. Editorial photography experience with a strong understanding of fashion storytelling. Experience partnering with photographers, stylists, producers and retouchers throughout the creative process. Women's fashion experience strongly preferred. Skills & Qualifications Exceptional eye for composition, lighting, movement and visual storytelling. Strong understanding of both ecommerce and editorial photography. Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation. Ability to direct talent with confidence while creating authentic, aspirational imagery. Strong understanding of image selection and post production workflows. Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills. Highly organized, able to manage multiple productions simultaneously in fast paced, high volume environments. The annual base salary range for this position is from $115,000-$140,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role.
