About role

We are seeking an Art Director – Marketing Campaigns for a leading global financial brand client based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This role goes beyond strong design; it requires a conceptual thinker and campaign builder who can take a business challenge, uncover the creative opportunity, and own the core idea from the initial brief through final execution.

Working closely with Creative Directors, copywriters, designers, and marketing partners, you will develop strategic, audience-relevant ideas and translate them into compelling visual concepts and cohesive campaign systems across digital, social, web, video, print, and other brand experiences.

Benefits

  • Monthly salary: $3,000,000 ARS - 3,500,000 ARS
  • Major and minor medical expense insurance.
  • All Argentine law benefits
  • Professional growth & upskilling opportunities

Key responsibilities

  • Drive the Creative Process: Own the creative journey from the initial brief to final execution, understanding the business challenge, audience insights, and strategic objectives.
  • Develop the Big Idea: Partner with copywriters and creatives to generate original, brief-solving campaign concepts rather than just executing existing visual directions.
  • Establish Visual Concepts & Systems: Define how ideas come to life through art direction, imagery, typography, composition, and motion. Build cohesive visual languages that flex across formats and channels.
  • Execute Across Touchpoints: Direct and produce creative work for digital, social, web, video, print, presentations, and experiential marketing.
  • Present & Defend Work: Pitch creative concepts and articulate the strategic rationale to Creative Directors, marketing partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate & Iterate: Work with cross-functional teams to unify copy and design. Rapidly synthesize feedback to evolve concepts without losing the core idea.
  • Understand the Market: Turn complex global financial market challenges into clear, compelling creative that pushes brand boundaries thoughtfully.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of craft and attention to detail.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: +2 years in an Art Director role at a creative agency, in-house team, or similar environment.
  • Portfolio: Required. Must feature concept-led, integrated marketing campaigns demonstrating idea-driven art direction from brief to execution across multiple touchpoints.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in art direction, design, advertising, visual communications, or a related discipline.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to confidently present concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Conceptual Ability: Proven experience developing creative concepts from business briefs and audience insights in partnership with copywriters.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
  • Experience leveraging AI and emerging creative tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, and execution.
  • Financial services experience.

Desired skills

  • Exceptional craft in typography, visual hierarchy, composition, and overall design.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Working Conditions

  • Contract Type: 12-month contract with the potential to convert to full-time for the right fit.
  • Location: Hybrid in Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Full-time position. 40 hours per week.
