We help small teams run go-to-market like much larger ones, with customers already using the product in production and seeing results in their pipeline.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer who thinks and operates like a co-founder. You’ll work directly with the founder, own large parts of the product and infrastructure, and make core architecture decisions that shape how Flywheel scales.

Your work will span our multi-agent system, model routing, lead discovery and enrichment, real-time streaming, data pipelines, and publishing integrations. You’ll turn customer needs into reliable production software, making thoughtful decisions about what to build, how to build it, and why.

As one of our first full-time hires, you’ll help shape our engineering culture and the company itself, with meaningful ownership and founding equity.

This is a full-time, remote role in a compatible timezone.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping real products end to end, taking ownership from initial decisions through launch and ongoing improvements.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills, including React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into production applications, with an understanding of agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and context management.
• An AI-native development workflow: you use AI coding agents regularly and are comfortable running multiple agent instances in parallel.
• Strong architecture and system design judgment, including the ability to make practical tradeoffs with incomplete information.
• High agency and clear communication: you can identify what matters, make decisions independently, and work directly with the founder to move the product forward.
• Experience with Supabase, pgvector, WebSockets, data ingestion, scraping, or third-party integrations is a plus.
