As an AI Engineer at a forward-thinking commerce company in Ghent, you'll build LLM, generative AI and agent-based solutions that enhance customer experiences, optimise commerce operations and automate key business processes. You'll create intelligent applications that help businesses manage product data, understand customer behaviour, personalise shopping journeys and simplify commercial workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, build and deploy production-ready AI and machine learning solutions for commerce applications.
Develop AI-powered tools using LLMs, Generative AI, NLP and intelligent agents.
Build AI agents to automate commercial workflows, product discovery, customer support and business operations.

Your Profile

2–5 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, NLP, Data Science or Software Engineering.
Strong Python programming skills.
Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP or AI agents.
Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
Good understanding of software engineering principles, APIs and cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in applying AI to real-world commercial challenges.
