Is this job info correct?

Job Description This is a remote position. Ellit Groups is a Private Equity-backed, woman, minority-led healthcare IT consulting firm focused on Provider and Payer organizations. We partner with healthcare leaders who value operational excellence, real-world experience, and diverse perspectives to drive better outcomes. Our firm is built by former healthcare operators who understand the realities of running complex healthcare systems. This combination of operator credibility and investment-backed growth enables us to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions. We differentiate ourselves by bringing practical experience, executive-level insight, and a relentless focus on quality and outcomes. Our success is directly tied to our clients’ success. Overview This role will involve coordinating across IT teams, clinical operations, patient access, marketing/communications, and the Epic build teams to define requirements, validate workflows, configure the communication logic, support testing, and manage the overall change implications. It's a cross-functional project that touches technical build, integration with downstream systems, operational readiness, and patient-facing communication strategy. It's a highly visible acquisition that blends technology, process optimization, engagement design, and change management to support a more connected and consistent experience for our patients. The ASC portion of the project will be complemented with another small project to fill out the PM's time. This project will be focused on re-opening an L&D unit at one of the organization's Illinois hospitals. Exact timeline is TBD but will largely occur within the overall time frame of the above-described ASC project. This Illinois hospital previously had an L&D department that was sunset. This will involve managing Epic build, technology requirements/install, and third-party applications (presently TBD). Timeline Kick off will occur in early August with Go Live tentatively targeting the first week of January 2027, with a standard two-week support window. Responsibilities Manage budgets, timelines, and project deliverables for various individual Epic (EMR), clinical/business applications, and infrastructure projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and peers, including clients, partners, vendors, and other project managers. Scope projects and manage vendor contracts for IT system integrations. Provide clear and consistent project updates to all stakeholders. This includes preparing and delivering weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and maintaining a RAID log to track risks, actions, issues, and decisions. Efficiently manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently. Use problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve project issues. Lead and guide IT system migrations, transitions, and integrations. Develop and implement change management strategies that address the cultural and operational shifts associated with IT system integrations. Requirements Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred. Will also consider a background in BSN/RN, PharmD, MD, or a similar clinical education pathway, combined with comparable IT project management and additional advanced degrees such as an MHA or MBA. PMP certification or equivalent is desired. Familiarity with Epic (EMR) is required. (Note: This role does not seek an Epic analyst). Prior experience with full cycle Epic & full IT implementation for an ASC is strongly preferred. Proven experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation, review, and administration of contracts with suppliers and vendors. Experience working within a large healthcare system with multi-state operations. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels. Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail in all aspects of project management and execution. Demonstrated experience in organizational change management, including the ability to develop and implement change strategies, engage employees, and ensure a smooth transition during IT integrations. Experience and discipline in utilizing modern PPM project tracking solutions such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and ServiceNow are strongly preferred. Details Work Type: Remote, must be willing to work within central time zone business hours. Travel: Occasional travel for major milestones. <10% Benefits Benefits What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package. Opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment. Professional development opportunities to advance your career. Flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance
