Role Description As an Asset and PL Finance Broker – Consumer and Commercial at Finance King, you will manage clients seeking personal loans, asset finance, and commercial finance solutions. In this full-time hybrid role based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, you will work both from the office and from home, conducting client consultations, assessing financial needs, and recommending appropriate loan and insurance products. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and submitting finance applications, liaising with lenders and insurers, negotiating terms, and ensuring smooth approval and settlement processes. You will maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory and responsible lending requirements, and provide ongoing support to clients throughout the life of their facilities. The role also involves building referral networks, nurturing long-term client relationships, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and client experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Finance and Financial Services, with the ability to navigate multiple lenders and product offerings.
• Expertise in Commercial Finance and Asset finance, including structuring solutions for both consumer and business clients.
• Experience or understanding in Financial Planning principles, including assessing client goals, risk profiles, and affordability.
• Relevant qualifications in finance, business, or a related field; industry accreditations or certifications (e.g., Cert IV or Diploma in finance broking) are advantageous.
• Proven client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and build trust-based relationships.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with finance software and CRM tools.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and responsible lending practices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and workload effectively.
