Role Description The Asset Integrity & Corrosion Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and maintaining the integrity of oil and gas assets, including pipelines, process equipment, and production facilities. This full-time hybrid role is based in Cairo, Egypt, with a mix of on-site work at company locations and limited work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting corrosion risk assessments, reviewing inspection data, and recommending mitigation measures such as coatings, cathodic protection, chemical treatment, and repair plans. The specialist prepares and updates asset integrity strategies, develops corrosion control programs, and supports the implementation of inspection schedules in collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. The role also involves preparing technical reports, supporting incident investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company procedures, and advising stakeholders on lifecycle cost and risk implications of integrity decisions.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret inspection data, evaluate corrosion risks, and optimize integrity management plans.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to prepare clear technical reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Finance and Investments skills to understand budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and the impact of integrity decisions on asset value and lifecycle costs.
- Candidates should possess Asset Management skills to contribute to asset integrity strategies, long-term maintenance planning, and reliability-centered decision-making.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, materials, chemical, or petroleum engineering (or a related field) are preferred.
- Professional experience in corrosion engineering, asset integrity, or reliability within the oil and gas or energy sector is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., API, NACE/AMPP, ISO) and familiarity with inspection and monitoring techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work safely in field environments, manage multiple priorities, and use specialized software tools for integrity and corrosion analysis is desirable.
