We are currently recruiting for two exciting accounting opportunities with established and growing organisations in Sydney.

Position 1: Assistant Accountant | Premium Retail

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 Days WFH

Our client is a globally recognised premium retail group with an established presence across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end reporting across the ANZ business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Assist with month-end closing, accruals and financial reporting.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and financial documentation.
• Assist with accounting process improvements and internal compliance.

Skills & Experience

• 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR and month-end processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• SAP experience and CPA/CA qualifications or studies are advantageous.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or a commercial environment is highly regarded.

Position 2: Settlement Accountant | Logistics & Supply Chain

Work Arrangement: Full-time On-site

Our client is a growing logistics and supply chain organisation operating across warehousing, transportation, e-commerce fulfilment and cross-border logistics.

This role focuses on daily financial settlements, account reconciliation and operational finance support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily settlement processes, including customer billing and supplier reconciliations.
• Verify settlement data and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly settlement reports.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Work closely with internal operational teams and external partners.
• Assist with audit requirements and finance process improvements.

Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, settlements, reconciliations or finance operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Strong Excel, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or e-commerce is highly regarded.
• Mandarin language skills and CPA/CA studies are advantageous but not essential.
