The Assistant Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and project support to the Independent Living team, assisting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, supports team projects, and helps ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. The position also represents Fraser professionally through positive and courteous interactions with individuals, families, staff, and community partners in person and by phone.

Job Duties:

  • Provides administrative support for the Property Manager and Service Coordinator periodically in person onsite as well as remotely.
  • Accurately completes projects and tasks by specified deadlines.
  • Takes initiative in continued process improvement in conjunction with the Service Coordinator and Property Manager.
  • Assists with rent collection, waitlist updates and data entry into rent software.
  • Assures an environment that is safe and clean. Communicates maintenance needs with Facilities and initiate maintenance requests.
  • Performs general clerical duties to include but not be limited to: copying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities for sites and participate in planning activities for Community Living Division.

Schedule, Pay and Location:

  • This position is working 40 hours a week, between Monday - Friday standard business hours
  • Starting at $19.00 per hour + $500 Hiring Bonus
  • Bloomington, MN with some remote
    • Will support Apple Valley, Bloomington, Hopkins, Minnetonka, and Richfield
      • Occasional travel in-between apartment sites required (mileage reimbursement provided)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education highly preferred
  • Six months of professional experience working with people who have developmental disabilities or related conditions required, with one year or more of experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable record
