We pride ourselves on being exceptionally responsive, accurate, and service-oriented for the owners and residents we support. The Role As an Assistant Association Manager, you'll be the first line of support for homeowners and residents across a portfolio of communities, handling high volumes of calls and emails, coordinating vendors, and backing up the Property Manager on financial and operational tasks. This is a hybrid role based out of your home office with regular travel to community locations throughout greater Cleveland (mileage reimbursed) and to our corporate office in Independence, Ohio as necessary. Compensation & Benefits Salary: up to $65,000 - 70,000/year (exempt/salaried) dependent on prior property management experience Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm | 37.5 hours/week, plus occasional evening weekday meetings via Zoom or in-person for approx. 2-hours each (average of 5-10/mo). What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for owner and resident inquiries via phone and email, resolving issues with professionalism and urgency Assist several managers (2-3) and support 10-15 communities Customer service – responsive communication with client, residents, vendors, and team members Support the Property Manager with day-to-day community operations, including vendor coordination, work order processing, site visits, and when the manager is off Assist with budget preparation, banking tasks, and financial reporting Help obtain vendor proposals and manage service contracts Enforce community rules and regulations consistently and professionally Attend occasional weekday evening board meetings (5-10/month on average) and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed Maintain organized records, task lists, and follow-through on all open items 3–5 years of external-facing, high-volume customer service experience Preferred experience in HOA/COA association management, rental property management, or hospitality management (hotel/resort/restaurant) Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Dedicated home workspace with high-speed internet Ability to travel within the Cleveland metro area several times per week Must reside within 45 minutes of Cleveland, OH Must pass a criminal background and credit history check before hire Nice to Have Property management experience Experience with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, Vantaca or similar) Familiarity with HOA governing documents, CC's, or community association regulations
