About the Role Our client is growing and seeking a highly experienced Assistant Controller to join their corporate team. In this role, you will support the Corporate Controller with balance sheet reconciliations, supporting the monthly close, assisting with weekly revenue reports, and preparing financial statements. This position requires full-cycle accounting experience. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to support some of their consulting engagements and partner with small to mid-sized client companies ($5–100M) in a dynamic, multi-client consulting environment. The ideal candidate enjoys variety, thrives in changing environments, communicates impeccably in English, and can handle multiple client engagements simultaneously. Responsibilities Internal Corporate Accounting Manage internal corporate accounting operations to ensure accuracy and organizational efficiency. Handle core transactional functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and corporate payroll processing. Oversee corporate cash flow, bank reconciliations, and internal expense tracking. Deliver precise internal financial data to support leadership decision-making. Client Management & Consulting Manage multiple, varied client engagements simultaneously at a transactional level. Lead the monthly close process and perform rigorous balance sheet reconciliations for client portfolios. Generate weekly/biweekly vendor payments, manage the AR cycle, and process client payroll across various platforms. Prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements and deliver them to client leadership teams. Build strong professional relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery. 3. Financial Planning & Analysis Assist in developing and maintaining financial forecasts, budgets, and models to support both corporate and client goals. Provide analytical support to drive strategic planning and operational productivity. Competencies and Qualifications Must-Have Experience: 5–10 years as an Assistant Controller, Controller, Sr. Accountant, or similar role Experience in a multi-client or consulting environment strongly preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Accounting Systems: Proficiency in QuickBooks (required), plus experience with Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or other mid-market accounting systems Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS Skilled in managing the full accounting cycle and preparing financial statements Communication: Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal Nice-to-Have CPA, CA, or similar certification (or progress toward certification) QuickBooks Certification Advanced Excel proficiency (financial modeling, data analysis) Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau What We Offer 100% Remote Work 13th Month Pay Healthcare (HMO) Comprehensive Fringe Benefits package Paid Service Incentive Lead (SIL) Paid Philippines Holidays Free Learning and Development Programs Application Process We understand that searching for a new job can be challenging, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
