On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Loan Processor who can independently manage loan files from application through closing. This is not a purely administrative role — the ideal candidate functions as both a loan processor and a hands-on assistant/loan officer support, wearing multiple hats to keep files moving efficiently. Daily communication with the owner is essential, and the role requires strong ownership of documentation review, borrower outreach, and coordination with underwriters. Thoroughly review legal documents, entity documentation, and other supporting paperwork with strong attention to detail and common sense. Handle compliance-related documentation. Prepare closing packages and support the full closing process. Borrower & Stakeholder Communication Communicate proactively with borrowers via text, email, and other channels to collect required documentation and keep files progressing. Coordinate with underwriters and other parties as needed. CRM, Systems & Administrative Support Update the CRM (Arrive) and maintain accurate file status. Operate effectively within Google Workspace and a controlled virtual desktop environment. Collaboration, Ownership & Performance Maintain daily communication and reporting with the owner. Take ownership of files end-to-end and prioritize closing volume and efficiency. Handle ad hoc tasks and additional responsibilities as needed to support the owner and overall operations. Be available for full-time hours (approximately 8 hours/day) with potential for approved overtime when needed. Function as both a loan processor and hands-on assistant/loan officer support, wearing multiple hats as required. Requirements Proven experience as a Loan Processor in the private lending space (real estate-secured loans preferred). Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; strong track record preferred (including specific lenders previously worked with). Demonstrated ability to review legal and entity documentation accurately and efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication skills for borrower outreach (text/email) and internal coordination. Ability to work independently while maintaining close daily alignment with the owner. Comfortable acting in a hybrid loan processor + assistant capacity (“many hats”). Reliable high-speed internet and professional remote work setup. Willingness to work within a controlled virtual desktop environment and monitoring tools for data security. Two professional references and a valid criminal background check issued within the last 60 days are required for all successful applicants. Completion of intake paperwork, including submission of a valid tax identification number (e.g., Social Security Number, Social Insurance Number, or the country’s equivalent), is required before onboarding. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with Arrive CRM (or similar loan management platforms). Experience with Google Workspace. Familiarity with private lending workflows and the ability to cite specific prior lenders or volume handled. Track record of efficiently moving files to closing.
