Assistant Controller / RTR Specialist

In this role, you will support the company's financial operations, contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and effective accounting and controlling processes.

You will work closely with local, regional, and global Finance stakeholders, including Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and Corporate Finance teams.

This is a opportunity for a finance professional who wants to develop their experience across Record-to-Report, accounting, and controlling activities in an international environment.

We are open to candidates with a background in Record-to-Report, General Ledger, Accounting or Assistant Controlling.

What you will do:

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely execution of the closing process.
• Perform financial analysis and variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain complete and accurate account reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Support compliance with local, regional, and global requirements, including internal controls, C-SOX, tax, statutory, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the implementation and execution of controlling policies, processes, and activities for the local organization.
• Support the preparation of group reporting packages and financial statements.
• Participate in audit processes and cooperate with local and global audit teams.
• Support timely preparation of statutory filings and audit deliverables.
• Cooperate with Tax, Treasury, Corporate, Regional, and other Finance teams on recurring deliverables and ad hoc requests.
• Participate in cross-functional Finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a collaborative Finance environment by sharing knowledge and supporting continuous learning.

What you bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in Record-to-Report, General Ledger, Accounting, Controlling, or a related Finance function.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Practical understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Experience with local tax reporting and statutory requirements is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international, multinational, SSC, GBS, or Big4 environment will be an advantage.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system is an advantage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Very good command of English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with local and international stakeholders.
