Assistant Director, Fraternity and Sorority Life

At Lehigh University, Fraternity and Sorority Life is looking for an Assistant Director who brings both strategic thinking and a deep commitment to inclusive, student-centered practice. Reporting to the Associate Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life, you'll play an active role in shaping the direction of a department that takes its educational mission seriously. Position Number: S83340 This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $47,570-$57,090 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications. What You'll Be Doing Advising assigned fraternity and sorority chapters and governing councils in their development, accountability, and community engagement Contributing to departmental strategic planning and the ongoing refinement of the office's mission and vision Designing and facilitating student-centered programs that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within Greek-letter communities Overseeing recruitment, intake, and new member education processes to ensure alignment with university policy and chapter values Managing conduct and accountability processes for assigned chapters, partnering with the Dean of Students office where appropriate Delivering risk management education and supporting chapters in building cultures of care and informed decision-making Collecting and analyzing community data to inform assessment, reporting, and continuous program improvement Serving as a consistent advocate for students, connecting them with resources across the broader Student Affairs division What You Bring Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or equivalent combination of education and experience One to three years of work related experience A track record of developing inclusive programs that reflect a commitment to equity and belonging Experience in student conduct, conflict resolution, and community standards work Experience contributing to strategic planning or departmental goal-setting processes Solid computer skills needed to handle campus management software Exercises sound judgment and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Why Lehigh Lehigh University is a research-intensive institution in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where Student Affairs professionals are genuine partners in the academic mission.
