Job Title: Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions Department: Pharmacy | Academic Affairs Under the direction of the Senior Director for Student Success, the Assistant Director provides leadership direction and coordination and maintains a high level of excellence and professionalism in prospective student services and undergraduate and PharmD recruitment in the College of Pharmacy (COP). Develops and implements recruitment goals and strategies regarding new first-year, transfer/transition/campus change students in the BSPS and PharmD programs. Collaborates with senior leaders in COP to formulate and implement a strategic enrollment plan. Provides creative visionary leadership for and implementation of the continued enhancement of short and long-term outreach and recruitment programs and activities to support college and university enrollment goals. Represents the COP as liaison to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions. Develops market leads and/or coordinates on- and off-campus visits and events activities and recruitment programs. Serves as the primary resource person for information and responds to inquiries to the COP regarding admissions policies and procedures. Coordinates and/or collaborates on recruitment and outreach efforts with OSU's regional campuses and develops new relationships with community colleges and other undergraduate institutions. Assists with COP pre-college outreach programming efforts. Participates in and represents COP at on and off-campus university recruitment events. Provides data and produces reports related to recruitment yield and admissions. Collaborates with COP Office of Marketing and Communications in developing promotional items/materials and marketing/advertising strategies displays campaigns and promotional programs using print/ digital media/websites/etc. and social media. Responsible for budget development and oversight related to scope of responsibilities. Assists in developing/ implementing strategies to utilize scholarship awards to enhance recruitment priorities of COP. Responsible for maintaining excellence of the high-profile COP Student Ambassador Team program involving selection, orientation, and on-going training and development. Provides supervision and oversight of the prospective student services team consisting of two Recruiting Specialists and Student Ambassador Coordinators. Serves as advisor to or serves on college and student-related committees and participates in student affairs-related activities. Attends university and regional meetings, professional conferences and professional development workshops. Engages in and contributes to the array of programs and services of the COP Student Success Office. Manages student enrollment services, including oversight of the First-Generation Specialist and the College Registrar, who provide assistance with financial aid and support services for new and returning undergraduate and professional students. This oversight ensures continuity of support from applicants to matriculated students within the College of Pharmacy. Additional enrollment services within the Assistant Director’s purview include special programming for first-generation students, scholarship awarding, and class registration. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience; at least five years of managerial and administration experience; strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field, experience in admissions and working with a graduate or professional program. Additional Information: The pay range for this job profile is $64,900 - $84,850. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications. The College of Pharmacy believes in a healthy work/life balance, therefore, the work arrangement for this position is hybrid (i.e., remote and in-office), subject to change based upon the needs of the organization and as determined by College Leadership.
