The role and responsibilities:
You’ll provide support to the existing small team of 9 Employer’s Agents / Project Managers in project delivery. As an Assistant you’ll learn ‘on the job’ experience by shadowing more senior members of the group and taking responsibility for day-to-day tasks - depending on experience and confidence (with suitable support/training from the wider group).
The role offers a structured development pathway, providing exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle including procurement, contract administration, stakeholder management, risk management, programme monitoring and commercial reporting. The position is particularly suited to candidates working towards professional chartership through the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). You will receive support in gaining relevant experience across the APC competency framework, including mentoring from chartered professionals, regular progress reviews, and opportunities to take on increasing levels of responsibility. As your experience grows, you will be encouraged to lead elements of project delivery, develop client-facing skills, and establish yourself as a trusted project adviser, creating a clear route for career progression within the team and wider business.

Undertaking end of the defect liability inspections of properties (usually whilst occupied) and compiling a schedule of any defects identified.
Digital filing.
Shadowing senior members of the team, both within the office environment and also on construction sites.
Qualifications:
A construction related level 5 qualification OR, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, and,
A driving licence with full UK entitlement, and unencumbered access to a vehicle with business cover during normal business hours
